Overview
St. Paul’s School, a prestigious British international school in Brazil, is seeking a highly organised and thoughtful Communications & Marketing Manager to join its dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Communications, Marketing and Admissions, this newly created role will play a central role in coordinating and executing the school’s internal communications with families, supporting community engagement, and contributing to strategic initiatives led by the Director.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a strong sense of purpose, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes of communication across platforms in a timely, accurate, and audience-appropriate way.

Internal Communications & Endomarketing
Lead the day-to-day operations of internal communications to parents, pupils, and staff, through platforms such as newsletters, digital signage, bulletins, and especially the School App.
Coordinate and oversee the flow of school communications to parents, ensuring that messages about pupils’ academic life, school events, trips, reports and key notices are timely, clear, and consistent.
Align with academic, operational and events teams to centralise and revise communication content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency with the school’s tone of voice.
Lead a review of communication platforms and practices to improve the user experience for families—especially those with multiple children—ensuring a more effective and user-friendly system for sharing school-related information.
Support staff across departments with training and tools to improve consistency and efficiency in internal communications.
Collaborate closely with the HR team and senior leaders to reinforce positive messaging, promote wellbeing, and support staff engagement.
Support to Strategic Communications & Brand Positioning
Provide support in the implementation of the school’s communications and marketing strategy, contributing to the consistency of messaging across channels.
Assist in maintaining alignment between internal communications and the school’s values, visual identity and strategic goals.
Support PR, social media and digital marketing actions led by the Director, helping ensure materials and campaigns are timely, consistent, and appropriately targeted.
Contribute to the development and quality control of branded materials and publications, including newsletters, website content, and promotional documents.
Cross-team Collaboration
Work in close partnership with the Director of Communications, Marketing and Admissions to ensure effective delegation and follow-through of team projects.
Coordinate task distribution and day-to-day collaboration with other team members, supporting delivery timelines and upholding high communication standards.
Maintain an organised and forward-looking approach to planning, aligning communication priorities with the school calendar and key events.

Job requirements
Person Specification
Undergraduate degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field is preferred. Postgraduate qualifications in these areas will be considered an advantage.
Proven experience in communications, endomarketing, or PR, preferably within education, non-profit, or mission-driven organisations.
Expertise in internal communications and communication platform management.
Native or fluent Portuguese speaker and Fluent English are key requirements.
Outstanding writing, editing, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple streams of communication simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with different stakeholders and adapt tone and content to various audiences.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to clear, purposeful messaging.
Proactive, calm under pressure, and able to work to tight deadlines.
Desirable:
Experience in schools or educational environments.
Familiarity with communication platforms such as apps, newsletters, CMS and digital signage tools.
Basic knowledge of design principles or familiarity with graphic design software.
